This month's "odd-schedule" workout will be held at Hombu Dojo Friday, Sept. 12, noon to 2:00pm. This is open to all ranks. The agenda includes standard warm-ups and basics drills.Kata, kumite, special topics work depends on attendance, e.g. if the class is predominantly kyu-ranks, we'll focus on honing basics and kata and address any questions or issues they may have. If one or more upper dans are present, they will, of course, be invited to run all or part of the class. These "odd-schedule" sessions will hopefully provide those of us with wacky or ever-changing schedules (shift-work, busy evenings, etc.) an extra opportunity to work out together and help keep the OI ties strong.
