The Order of Isshin-Ryu gathers together three times a year for a Shiai and fellowship. During these times of the year, Grandmaster Cooling takes time to visit our Dojos. When he is able to visit a Dojo, it is a great honor and privilege. He is able to spend time with each of his students and their students. We have the opportunity to train with Grandmaster Cooling, learning Order of Isshin-Ryu Karate first-hand from our founder and we get to know him more personally, as well.
With the upcoming Shiai in October of 2019, Grandmaster Cooling took time to visit both the kids’ and adult classes at the Elkton Dojo. The kids loved all the critiques from Grandmaster Cooling on their Kata during the practice Shiai, and the adult class really enjoyed learning Denshi’s Twenty (a group of twenty self-defense moves put together by Grandmaster Cooling).
Sensei Cimorosi was very grateful that his classes had the opportunity to train and interact with Grandmaster Cooling in person and to see for themselves how blessed we are to have him in our lives.
